LoanMe ("we", "us", or "our") operates the LoanMe mobile application and related web services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use LoanMe.

- Account information: When you sign up or sign in, our authentication provider (Clerk) may collect your email address, phone number, name, profile image, and sign-in method (such as Google). We receive a user identifier and basic profile fields needed to operate your account.
- Loan and payment data: Information you enter about loans, installments, payments, notes, invites, notifications, and access requests. This may include names, amounts, dates, and free-text notes you choose to provide about counterparties.
- Device and usage data: Our hosting providers may process standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps, user agent) for security, debugging, and reliability.

- Authenticate you and secure your account
- Sync loan records between you and invited counterparties
- Send in-app notifications related to loans, payments, and access requests

What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not send loan invite email or SMS on your behalf; you share invites using your device.
- We do not use your loan data for third-party advertising.
Sharing with service providers
We use trusted processors to run the service, including:
- Clerk — authentication and identity
- Railway — application hosting and database infrastructure
These providers process data only to deliver the service on our behalf and are subject to their own privacy policies and security practices.
Data retention
We retain account and loan data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (see Support).
Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), authenticated API access, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your choices and rights

Children's privacy
LoanMe is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
